Supporting democratic institutions and exposing opinions on issues related to the electoral system do not constitute political affiliation. We invite representatives of public authorities, political parties and media outlets to refrain from attacks on civil society organizations that are active, independent and have critical views on authorities' initiatives. We call for a return to an open dialogue with all civil society organizations to promote the rule of law and the reforms that are really needed in society. The full statement can be downloaded here.
