Hybrid power and its actors are a special type of institutional analysis promoted by IDIS. The series of studies dedicated to Power Hybrid, developed and published under the responsibility of the Executive Director of IDIS, aims to analyze the mechanisms renter phenomenon in various societies in transition. The analysis measures the conflict between formal and informal rules, including leaders vested with political power and informal leaders, but influential. The analytical power hybrid seeks to identify points of intersection (tipping points) between societal actors and the state, evaluating conflicts, heterogeneity of actors competitors, the differences between formal rules and informal, tradition and change, democratic mechanisms to maintain democratic control over the distribution of resources public.
