Representatives of civil society organizations from the Republic of Moldova are welcome to participate in a new capacity development program in the field of public procurement monitoring and the use of public money. The program is part of the project "Cutting edge improvements in the public procurement system in the Republic of Moldova through inclusiveness, creativity and law-abiding practices", funded by EU through the Civil Society Strengthening Program to monitor budget support operations. The project is implemented by the Institute for Development and Social Initiatives (IDIS) "Viitorul".

Topics discussed in the workshop are:

-rolling public procurement in the public finance system;

- public procurement in figures;

- the institutional framework of public procurement;

- the general principles of public procurement,

-the national legislation regulating public procurement;

-European legislation regulating public procurement;

-the subject and subjects of public procurement;

- the functioning and attributions of the Procurement Working Group. Participation of representatives of civil society in the working group.
