Representatives of civil society organizations from the Republic of Moldova are welcome to participate in a new capacity development program in the field of public procurement monitoring and the use of public money. The program is part of the project "Cutting edge improvements in the public procurement system in the Republic of Moldova through inclusiveness, creativity and law-abiding practices", funded by EU through the Civil Society Strengthening Program to monitor budget support operations. The project is implemented by the Institute for Development and Social Initiatives (IDIS) "Viitorul".

Topics discussed in the workshop are:

- conflicts of interest in public procurement: legal provisions, how they can be managed

- control and audit of the procurement system. Responsible institutions.

- auditing the regularity and performance of the public procurement system by the Court of Auditors;

- the findings of the Court of Auditors in audit missions on procurement by contracting authorities. The Court's recommendations and the actions of the contracting authorities in this respect.

- the risks of corruption and risk factors in the field of public procurement - CNA;

- corruption cases in public procurement investigated by CNA;
