This video production is an overview of piloting the innovative project “Better Future among youth centers, youth NGO’s and educational institutions”, implemented between April 2021 - February 2022, by the Institute for Development and Social Initiatives (IDIS) "Viitorul", at the initiative of UN Women Moldova and with the financial support of Sweden, under the "Elimination of Violence against Women" program.

The pilot project involved organizing roundtables and discussions on the phenomenon of gender-based violence, with IDIS “Viitorul” experts. During the activities, young people discussed the causes and consequences of violence, the differences between flirting and sexual harassment, promoting healthy relationships and other related topics, which would help prevent and combat violence.

In total, almost 1100 young people have participated in activities meant to promote gender equality and prevent violence against women and girls, using the virtual reality tool previously developed with the participation of representatives of various institutions / organizations, service providers, survivors of violence, young people from different parts of the country.
